FIFA launches paid fan experiences for 2026 World Cup, offering Super Shoutout and Walk of Fans

FIFA announced new paid fan experiences for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The "Super Shoutout" program lets supporters submit a short name or message to be shown on stadium videoboards during the pre‑game period. Each shoutout costs $79 (tax excluded) with a maximum of four per order, totalling $316. Submissions must be made at least 72 hours before a match, are subject to FIFA approval, and must avoid offensive, political, advertising or player‑related content.

For the tournament final, FIFA offers the "Walk of Fans" experience, allowing participants to have their names printed onto the official player walk‑out carpet. The price is $159.90 before tax, with sales closing on 12 June. This option is also limited to a single match and subject to the same approval rules. The initiatives are part of a broader monetisation effort that has drawn criticism amid soaring ticket prices, which have risen from $2,030 for a standard final seat to as high as $32,970 under dynamic pricing. FIFA President Gianni Infantino said the pricing reflects market rates.
