FIFA launches Super Fan Shoutout allowing fans to appear on World Cup 2026 stadium screens

FIFA has introduced the Super Fan Shoutout program for the 2026 World Cup, which will be co‑hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada. The digital service lets supporters pay a promotional fee of $79 to have their name and country displayed on the large LED jumbotrons inside stadiums during selected matches, with a limit of four requests per user.

The first appearances are scheduled for the tournament’s opening match on 11 June at Estadio Azteca, where Mexico will face South Africa. Slots for that game and for the Czech Republic match sold out quickly, while additional spots for Ecuador’s group‑stage game in Philadelphia remain available until the same deadline. FIFA said the initiative is designed to deepen fan engagement and create a new revenue stream ahead of an event projected to generate $41 billion for the global economy.
