FIFA President Gianni Infantino earns $4.8 million in 2025

FIFA disclosed its 2025 financial results, revealing that president Gianni Infantino received a total compensation of about $4.8 million. The package comprised a gross base salary of $2.6 million and performance bonuses of roughly $2.2 million. Infantino, 56, has led the organisation since 2016 and oversaw the expansion of the World Cup to 48 teams for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The disclosure also noted that FIFA’s overall revenue grew by $13 billion over the past three years, underscoring the commercial scale of recent tournaments and high‑profile entertainment acts such as Shakira and Katy Perry. Infantino’s remuneration places him among the highest‑paid sports executives worldwide.
