FIFA President Gianni Infantino inaugurates Macau Football Association headquarters

FIFA President Gianni Infantino visited Macau to inaugurate the new headquarters of the Macau Football Association (AFM). This marks the first time the association has had its own dedicated headquarters since becoming a FIFA member 48 years ago.

The project was supported by the FIFA Forward program, which provides funding for national federation infrastructure, competitions, and youth development. During his unannounced visit, Infantino also met with the Macau U-15 national team. The squad is currently preparing for the inaugural FIFA U-15 World Cup & Festival, scheduled to take place in Azerbaijan in October 2026.
