FIFA referee instructor training concludes in Conakry

The FIFA MA training session for referee instructors concluded on Friday, September 18, 2026, in Conakry. The five-day program brought together 35 participants to focus on training, evaluation, and the support of referees.

The workshop was led by FIFA technical instructor Célestin Ntagungira from Rwanda and FIFA physical instructor Marwa Hannachi from Tunisia. During the closing ceremony, Bangaly Keita, President of the Referees Commission, expressed gratitude to the Guinean Football Federation (FGF) and FIFA, urging instructors to apply their new knowledge to develop Guinean referees.

Sékou Diallo, spokesperson for the referees, noted the importance of the opportunity to strengthen professional knowledge. Ibrahima Blasco Barry, Secretary General of the FGF, reaffirmed the federation's commitment to continuous training and improving the skills of all refereeing stakeholders. The event concluded with the presentation of participation certificates.
