Adidas Trionda Final ball unveiled for FIFA World Cup 2026 semifinals and final

Adidas introduced the Trionda Final, a gold‑black‑white match ball that will be used exclusively in the semifinals, third‑place playoff and final of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The new visual identity replaces the standard Trionda after roughly 100 matches and is the first dedicated final‑stage ball in World Cup history. Its premium gold finish references the tournament trophy, while black provides contrast and pink‑red accents add dynamism.

The design incorporates typography that highlights the four host cities for the closing matches – Dallas, Atlanta, Miami and New York/New Jersey – and integrates the remaining twelve host cities across the surface. Technically, the ball retains the four‑panel construction, surface textures and deep seams of the original Trionda, and continues to embed the Connected Ball sensor that streams real‑time positional data to VAR officials.

The Trionda Final will go on sale in South Africa from 17 July, ahead of the final between Argentina and Spain on 19 July. Its launch adds a collector‑focused product to the tournament’s closing stage while preserving the performance characteristics that have been used throughout the competition.
