ESPN announced a comprehensive English‑ and Spanish‑language coverage plan for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, spanning its U.S. platforms from June 11 to July 19. Studios in New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Fort Lauderdale, Kansas City and Guadalajara will host daily shows, featuring 17 former World Cup players such as Mario Kempes, Jürgen Klinsmann and Ali Krieger, along with daily ESPN FC episodes, SportsCenter highlights and specialty programs like Fútbol Américas and digital originals.

In the United States, the tournament’s opening ceremonies will be televised on FOX and FS1 in English and on Telemundo and Universo in Spanish. Three separate ceremonies are scheduled: Mexico City’s Estadio Azteca on June 11, Toronto’s BMO Field on June 12 and Los Angeles’s SoFi Stadium on June 12, with performances by artists including Shakira, Katy Perry and Michael Bublé.

Fox also introduced “FIFA World Cup on FOX After Hours with James Corden,” a nightly one‑hour program running from June 11 through July 19, starring Corden alongside Rio Ferdinand and comedian Ian Karmel, spotlighting match highlights, analysis and surprise guests.
