FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert launches with performances across Mexico, Canada and the US

The FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert debuted on June 10, 2026, with live broadcasts from the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, a venue in Toronto, and a stage in Los Angeles. Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli opened the show, singing “Nelle tue mani,” while Mexican pop star Belinda joined him for an a‑capella rendition of the classic “Bésame Mucho,” which quickly went viral on social media. Former football icons Bebeto, Cafú, Mario Kempes and Marco Materazzi were among the guests in the audience.

The concert, organized by FIFA, also featured performances by Elena Rose, Los Ángeles Azules, J Balvin, Maná, Alejandro Fernández, Lila Downs, Danny Ocean and Tyla, and served as a musical celebration ahead of the tournament’s opening match between Mexico and South Africa.
