FIFA World Cup 2026 halftime show to feature Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira and BTS

For the first time in its history, the FIFA World Cup final will include a dedicated halftime show. The 11‑minute performance is scheduled for July 19, 2026, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, United States. Headlining artists confirmed are Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira and K‑pop group BTS, with additional acts including Burna Boy, conductor Gustavo Dudamel, the PS 22 Chorus and Coldplay. The show is curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay and is designed to mirror the entertainment format of the Super Bowl halftime.

The event is tied to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which seeks to raise US$100 million to expand access to quality education for children worldwide, allocating one dollar from every World Cup ticket sold. The fund has already collected more than US$50 million. Justin Bieber said, “The World Cup unites the world in a way nothing else can. I’m grateful to be part of this show,” while FIFA president Gianni Infantino emphasized the importance of education, adding that the halftime show will help support the fund’s goals.
