FIFA World Cup 2026 kickoff concerts scheduled in Mexico, Canada and the United States

FIFA announced a Countdown Concert series to mark the kick‑off of the 2026 World Cup, with live shows in three host cities. Mexico City will host performances by Belinda, Elena Rose, Los Angeles Azules and Andrea Bocelli; Toronto will feature Ahi & Wyclef Jean, Bryan Adams, Nora Fatehi and others; Los Angeles will see Ava Max, Bia, Davido and Major Lazer. The concerts will be streamed on TikTok and the opening ceremonies in each city will showcase local cultural motifs, according to FIFA president Gianni Infantino.

A parallel lifestyle feature highlights the partners of several star players who are expected to attract media attention during the tournament. Antonela Roccuzzo, wife of Lionel Messi, is a model and entrepreneur with a large social‑media following. Georgina Rodríguez, engaged to Cristiano Ronaldo, is an Argentine‑born Spanish model and TV personality.
