FIFA World Cup 2026 sees new 3D and pop‑up channel broadcasts

Montenegrin telecom company MTEL is launching five free pop‑up channels on its MOVE platform for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The channels will provide extended coverage that begins 90 minutes before each match and continues 15 minutes after, with team‑focused streams, fan‑zone footage, backstage access and aerial camera angles. Viewers can watch all 104 tournament games from multiple perspectives without additional fees.

The British public broadcaster BBC has introduced a virtual‑reality 3D viewing service that lets fans watch matches from the perspective of any player on the field. Using real‑time data to generate a detailed 3D model, the platform offers first‑person, third‑person and bird‑eye views, and is currently available only to UK users.
