Carmine Zigarelli, President of the FIGC LND Campania Regional Committee, has launched the “Alleniamo il Futuro” (Coaching the Future) project in Naples. The initiative aims to support youth football by focusing on the holistic growth of young athletes rather than just technical skills.

A key component of the project is a new experimental course for Parents Liaison Officers (PLO). Designed to facilitate consistent and qualified dialogue between football clubs and the families of young players, the course will consist of seven monthly modules running from November to May. Registrations for the program are scheduled to begin in October.

The event also featured discussions on the relationship between parents and young athletes, involving family members of former players to provide insights into supporting children through their sporting journeys.
