Fight Gym Grosseto athletes win two gold medals in Tuscan boxing championships

Athletes from Fight Gym Grosseto secured two gold medals at the regional phase of the Elite Boxing Absolute Championships held in Florence.

Jonathan Pisano won gold in the 90 kg category, advancing directly to the next stage due to a lack of opponents in his weight class. Emilie Lacroix earned a gold medal after a closely contested points victory against Sara Pisaneschi, securing the win with a strong performance in the final stages of the match.

While Francesco Liberti lost on points in the 60 kg category to Lorenzo Fedi, the club looks forward to Alessio Pio Tufano competing in the 55 kg category next weekend. Pisano and Lacroix are set to represent the gym at the next phase of the championships in Montecatini from November 20 to 22.
