Figueira da Foz to host animal welfare event for families

The Municipality of Figueira da Foz will host ‘PeddyPet – Peddy-Paper Famílias’ on November 7 at Parque das Abadias Norte. The initiative aims to raise awareness among children and adults regarding animal welfare through games, challenges, and team activities.

Participants will navigate four thematic stations involving puzzles and missions focused on animal abandonment, essential health and care, responsible adoption, and animal behavior, including during travel. Families are encouraged to bring their dogs, provided the animals are well-adapted to the environment. The event concludes with a collective mission where families are invited to make concrete commitments to animal protection.
