Figueroles hosts Castellón Province Day celebrations

The Diputación de Castellón has installed a commemorative sculpture in Figueroles to mark the municipality as the host of the third itinerant edition of the Province Day. The sculpture, located at the entrance of the town via the CV-190, serves as a symbol of gratitude for the hospitality shown by the local residents.

This year's celebration is particularly significant as Figueroles marks its 300th anniversary of municipal history. Marta Barrachina, president of the Diputación, noted that the town represents the essence of the region's villages, built through generations of effort and work. Figueroles joins Tírig and Aín as municipalities that have received permanent sculptures following their roles as hosts for the provincial celebration.
