FiiO announces DM11 portable CD player and FT15 planar headphones

FiiO has announced two new audio products: the DM11 portable CD player and the FT15 open-back planar headphones.

The DM11 is an affordable, circular portable CD player featuring a tempered-glass lid and an aluminum-alloy case. It includes wired and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, USB-C audio support, and both 3.5mm and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs. Notably, the device uses two replaceable 14500 lithium-ion cells to extend its lifespan. It also features electronic skip protection and is expected to retail for approximately US$119 with a planned release on November 11, 2026.

The FT15 planar headphones are the successor to the FT5 model, featuring an 800nm diamond-coated diaphragm that is significantly thinner than previous generations. This design aims to improve response speed and reduce residual ringing. The headphones utilize a 101mm planar driver and a redesigned magnetic system. With an impedance of 24 ohms, they are designed to be driven by portable hardware such as USB dongle DACs. The FT15 carries an MSRP of $499.99 in the US.
