FiiO announces DP11 compact CD player and digital transport
FiiO has announced the DP11, a compact desktop CD player and digital transport designed to function as a multi-purpose audio interface. The device features a Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC and includes analog stereo RCA outputs, as well as digital AES/EBU, S/PDIF coaxial, and TOSLINK outputs for use with external decoders.
Key technical features include a front-loading tray with optimized servo firmware and a silent mechanism bracket to minimize operating noise. The unit utilizes isolated power supplies for the CD servo, digital processing, and analog audio stages to reduce interference. It also functions as a USB DAC, supporting high-resolution audio from connected computers or mobile devices.
Additionally, the DP11 offers a direct CD-to-USB ripping function, allowing users to save audio CDs as WAV files to a flash drive. The device is housed in a metal chassis measuring 213 x 230 x 67 mm and includes an amber LCD display and an infrared remote control. A market launch is anticipated for October 2026.
