FiiO expands audio lineup with tube amplifier and budget headphones

FiiO has expanded its audio product lineup with the release of two distinct devices targeting different segments of the hi-fi market.

The EA13 is a full-size, analogue stereo amplifier designed for classic hi-fi enthusiasts. Built with a Class A push-pull design, it features six vacuum tubes, including two Sylvania PCF80 tubes for the preamp stage and four JJ Electronic EL34 tubes for power amplification. The unit delivers 28W per channel into 8-ohm speakers and includes mechanical VU meters and a CNC-machined aluminium chassis. It lacks modern digital features such as Bluetooth, streaming, or a built-in DAC, focusing instead on traditional RCA and headphone connectivity.

In the consumer headphone market, FiiO has introduced the EH13, a pair of closed-back over-ear Bluetooth headphones priced at $49. These headphones feature active noise cancellation (ANC), 40mm drivers, and a 10-band parametric EQ accessible via an app. The EH13 offers up to 45 hours of battery life with ANC enabled and supports LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs.
