FiiO launches affordable FG3 gaming headset with dual‑driver Hi‑Fi tech

Chinese audio specialist FiiO has entered the gaming market with the FG3, a wired circum‑aural headset priced at €69.99. It combines a coaxial dual‑driver system – a 50 mm unit for lows and mids and a 16 mm unit for highs – to deliver a wide frequency range (10 Hz‑40 kHz) and improved spatial audio. The headset integrates its own DAC, a dual‑core DSP and an 80 mW headphone amplifier, supporting up to 24‑bit/192 kHz audio streams.

The FG3 offers virtual 7.1 surround sound with selectable profiles for cinema or action, and a detachable microphone featuring environmental noise cancellation. Compatibility covers PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch, with plug‑and‑play operation and browser‑based configuration via FiiO Control Web, including a 10‑band equalizer. The product aims to bring high‑fidelity sound performance to the entry‑level gaming headset segment.
