FiiO launches FG3 gaming headset and EA13 tube amplifier

FiiO introduces the FG3, the company's first gaming headset. It offers virtual 7.1‑surround sound, a coaxial dual‑driver configuration (a 50 mm driver for bass and mids and a 16 mm driver for highs), a Hi‑Res‑certified DAC supporting up to 192 kHz/24 bit, an ENC microphone and browser‑based control via Fiio Control Web. The headset is priced at €69.90 EU and is already orderable in the United States and other markets, though it is not yet in stock in the German Fiio shop.

The EA13 is Fiio's inaugural stereo vacuum‑tube power amplifier. It uses six tubes – two Sylvania PCF80 for the voltage stage and four JJ Electronic EL34 for the push‑pull Class A output stage – delivering 28 W per channel into an 8 Ω load. The amplifier features four analog stereo inputs, separate speaker terminals for 4 Ω and 8 Ω, a 6.3 mm headphone jack, a 40‑step analog volume control, VU meters and automatic standby after 30 minutes without signal. Unlike hybrid designs, both the pre‑amp and power stages are fully tube‑based, positioning the EA13 as a true tube‑centerpiece for classic stereo systems.
