Fiji Airways to launch direct flights from Nadi to Western Sydney

Fiji Airways has announced it will launch direct flights between Nadi and Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) starting March 19, 2027. The new service will operate three times weekly on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The route will utilize Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, each configured with 170 seats across economy and business classes. This expansion is expected to add more than 53,000 annual seats to the market, providing a new connection for the large Fijian community in Western Sydney, where over 70 percent of the city's Fijian population resides.

This new service will complement Fiji Airways' existing daily flights between Nadi and Sydney's Kingsford Smith Airport. Airline and airport officials noted the route aims to boost tourism, support economic growth, and improve connectivity for both leisure and business travelers.
