In Oceania football, New Zealand secured its tenth OFC U-19 Men’s Championship title with a 2-0 victory over Tahiti. Harley Hill scored the decisive goal in the 79th minute to extend the Junior All Whites’ unbeaten tournament run to 35 matches.

In the OFC U-16 Women’s Championship, the semi-final lineup is set with stakes for FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2027 qualification. Papua New Guinea returned to the semi-finals for the first time since 2016 after a 2-0 win against Samoa. New Caledonia also advanced to the knockout stage after topping Group B. In Fiji, Seaqaqa FC achieved a historic milestone by earning promotion to the Premier League for the first time. The club secured its spot following a 7-6 victory over Tavua in a penalty shootout after the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
