Fikayo Tomori faces potential January exit from AC Milan
Fikayo Tomori remains on the verge of leaving AC Milan, with club leadership reportedly interested in selling the English defender during the upcoming winter transfer window. Despite being reintegrated into the squad after a failed attempt to secure a move in August, Tomori has yet to see any playing time this season.
Because Milan failed to secure defensive reinforcements, such as a late bid for Sporting CP’s Goncalo Inacio, Tomori was brought back into the fold. However, his future remains uncertain as the club does not intend to extend his contract, which is set to expire in 2027. If a sale is not arranged, he could become available for free in February.
While Tomori has not yet featured in competitive action, upcoming fixture congestion may provide an opportunity for his return. Some analysts suggest that if he regains his best form, manager Ruben Amorim could utilize him to stabilize the central defense alongside players like Gabbia or De Winter.
