Fikayo Tomori's Potential Transfer from Milan to Al‑Hilal Discussed

English centre‑back Fikayo Tomori, under contract with AC Milan until 2027, has fallen out of manager Rubén Amorim’s plans after the arrival of Mario Gila, seeing his role reduced to a backup option. The club is evaluating a sale to generate funds for future signings.

Saudi Arabian side Al‑Hilal, coached by Simone Inzaghi, has emerged as the leading suitor, reportedly offering €12‑13 million. Milan has set a price of €20 million, seeking to cover the €5.7 million loss it would otherwise record on Tomori’s original €28.5 million purchase price. Other clubs, including Newcastle United and Coventry City, have also shown interest, but the economic gap with Al‑Hilal remains the main obstacle.

A transfer would free up significant wage and transfer‑budget space for Milan while offering Tomori a chance to return to a more prominent playing role, potentially in the Premier League or the Saudi league.
