Fikri Babur’s Funeral Held in Kula After Accidental Shooting

Thirteen‑year‑old Fikri Babur died in Kula, Manisa Province, Turkey, after a firearm belonging to his father discharged inside the family home. The accident occurred when the father's hunting rifle unintentionally fired, killing the child.

A funeral service was conducted after the afternoon prayer, and the boy was buried at Bebekli Mahallesi Cemetery. The ceremony was attended by Kula Kaymakam Talha Altuntaş, District Gendarmerie Commander Celalettin Şahbaz, representatives of political parties, local officials, and many residents. Fikri’s father, Barış Babur, posted a condolence message on social media, which received thousands of supportive comments and prayers from the community.
