FILA and Hatsune Miku announce collaboration to revive Silva Trainer sneakers

FILA and Crypton Future Media have announced a collaboration with virtual singer Hatsune Miku to revive the discontinued Silva Trainer sneaker from the 1990s. The footwear features a futuristic, sci-fi aesthetic characterized by a close fit and pod-style soles.

Two distinct colorways will be released. The first model utilizes a white base with teal accents and hot pink laces, while the second features a black and teal composition with pink laces and outsoles. Both designs include Miku’s silhouette, her name, an image on the insole, and the phrase ‘The first sound from the future’ embroidered on the tongue. The sneakers utilize a dual-sole structure for cushioning, suitable for both casual and light athletic use.

Pre-orders are scheduled to take place in Japan from September 1 to September 20, 2026, with shipping expected in March 2027. Each pair is priced at 18,700 yen (approximately $117). Customers who pre-order in Japan will receive an A5 clear file featuring exclusive artwork by illustrator Waka Sakauchi. Currently, there is no confirmed international release date.
