Filadelfia hosts fourth youth art competition
The town of Filadelfia recently hosted the fourth edition of the 'Estemporanea d’arte giovani', a youth art competition organized by the local administration and the Castelmonardo Institution. Participating young artists worked on the theme 'Filadelfia: glimpses of a church square', focusing on the four historic squares surrounding Piazza G. A. Serrao: San Francesco, San Teodoro, Piazza Carmine, and Santa Barbara.
Following an anonymous judging process by a panel including professors Anna Pitt and Antonella Carchedi, along with artist Maria Grazia Giampà, the winners were announced during the 'Visioni DiWine' event on July 31. Mariia Yermak took first place, followed by Domenico Gabriel Capomolla in second, and Annamaria Gugliotta in third. The municipality has acquired the three winning works to include them in the community's permanent artistic heritage.
