fileAI partners with JRE VENTURES to launch enterprise AI platform in Japan

fileAI announced a strategic partnership with JRE VENTURES PTE. LTD., the corporate venture capital arm of the JR East Group, to enter the Japanese market. The collaboration will deploy fileAI’s governed AI platform for digitising and automating legacy contracts and operational documents across JR East Group companies, starting with the conversion of paper and legacy digital records into searchable knowledge assets.

The partnership includes a strategic investment by JRE VENTURES and the creation of a dedicated local team in Tokyo to support sales, engineering and customer‑success functions. CEO Christian Schneider said, "Japan is a pivotal market for fileAI, and JRE is exactly the kind of partner we envisioned building with here," while Managing Director Junichi Eto added, "We aim to validate practical use cases and contribute to the broader adoption of enterprise AI in Japan and across Asia Pacific."
