Filip Cepter: The rise of the Zepter entrepreneur

Filip Cepter, born Milan Janković, is a prominent businessman known for building the global luxury brand Zepter. After studying economics in Belgrade, Cepter moved to Vienna in the late 1970s, where he and his wife, Madlena, began their career selling AMC cookware door-to-door.

In 1986, the couple founded Zepter in Austria, expanding from kitchenware into a multi-billion euro international empire. The couple, who met in a Belgrade university library in 1972 and married in 1976, recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.

Cepter's personal life has gained public attention due to his long-standing relationship with singer Haris Džinović, for whom he served as best man during a 2014 wedding ceremony in Dubrovnik.
