David Haye has praised Hrgović, describing him as a ‘warrior’ who has taken the difficult path to success due to a lack of major promotional backing. Haye recalled Hrgović’s toughness during their own sparring sessions, noting his ability to absorb heavy hits and continue advancing.

Hrgović secured his IBF title by defeating Moses Itaumu via technical knockout in the ninth round at the O2 Arena in London.
