Grêmio clears Filip Krovinovic for debut and nears Danilo Barbosa signing

Grêmio is finalizing key squad reinforcements as midfielder Filip Krovinovic has been officially cleared to play. After his work visa was granted and his registration was processed by the CBF, the Croatian midfielder is expected to make his debut in the upcoming match against Atlético-MG.

Coach Luís Castro intends to use Krovinovic to reshape the team's midfield, potentially starting him in place of Nardoni to improve ball circulation and creative play. The club plans to test this new formation in upcoming matches against Atlético-MG and Bragantino.

Additionally, the club is reportedly close to signing defensive midfielder Danilo Barbosa from Al Ula in Saudi Arabia. Danilo, who has previously played under Castro at Botafogo, is expected to arrive soon to serve as a replacement for Leonel Pérez.
