Filip Mladenović signs one-year deal with Mladost
Filip Mladenović has signed a one-year contract with the Serbian club Mladost, marking his return to the Serbian league after 13 years. The 35-year-old left-back concludes a three-year tenure with Panathinaikos.
Reflecting on his time in Greece, Mladenović stated that while he enjoyed his three years in Athens and wished to remain there with his family, his playing time at Panathinaikos was inconsistent. He also mentioned a brief three-month stint in Turkey starting in early February to maintain match fitness.
Mladenović credited Ivan Jovanović as a key figure in his move to Panathinaikos. He also addressed his past departure from Red Star Belgrade, citing non-sporting reasons and personal interests rather than financial disputes.
