Filip Salac finds success in Moto2 with American Racing team

Czech motorcycle racer Filip Salac has experienced a significant surge in form during the current Moto2 season. After a difficult period with the Marc VDS Racing team, Salac has found success riding for the American Racing team.

At the Red Bull Ring in Austria, Salac secured pole position and set a new lap record. Although he finished the race in second place, the performance was considered a major success for both the rider and the team. Salac noted that while he was initially cautious during the race to manage his tires, he regretted not pushing harder from the start to close the gap on the leader.

Looking ahead, Salac aims to secure a top-five finish in the championship standings. He is preparing for a series of races in Asia and Australia, including upcoming rounds in Japan and Indonesia, which he views as an opportunity to maintain his momentum and escape the winter weather in Europe.
