Filipe Albuquerque finishes sixth at IMSA Indianapolis

Filipe Albuquerque and teammate Ricky Taylor finished in sixth place in the main category at the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race held in Indianapolis. Driving the number 10 Cadillac V-Series.R for Wayne Taylor Racing, the duo completed the race on the same lap as the winners, finishing 38.085 seconds behind the leading BMW of Sheldon van der Linde and Dries Vanthoor.

Albuquerque noted that while the team avoided on-track errors, they lacked competitive pace compared to the leaders. He attributed the result to a strategic timing issue during a yellow flag period, stating that entering the pits a few seconds earlier could have significantly altered their position.

The team will now focus on the final round of the season, the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta, scheduled for October 3.
