Filipe Luís leads Monaco to top of French league

Filipe Luís has led Monaco to the top of the French Championship, securing 13 points from 15 available matches. The team currently holds an isolated lead after five rounds, recording four wins and one draw, including a 2-1 victory over PSG.

In recent interviews, the Brazilian manager addressed his transition from Flamengo to Monaco, expressing a desire to build his own legacy as a coach rather than relying on his successful playing career. He emphasized his ambition to evolve personally and professionally, stating that his principle is to win the next game to maintain his position.

Luís also reflected on a past controversy at Flamengo involving player Pedro, noting that he had to establish professional boundaries after a breach of team principles. He described the decision to address the situation as difficult but necessary for the collective good of the team.
