Filipino pop group SB19 to debut at Lollapalooza after US appearances

Filipino boy band SB19 began a week‑long U.S. engagement with a pop‑up event at the 100 Thieves compound in Los Angeles, offering exclusive merchandise and Filipino food trucks. The group then performed at the Grammy Museum’s sold‑out Global Spin Live program in LA on July 28.

On July 29 SB19 became the first Filipino act to throw a ceremonial first pitch before the Chicago White Sox‑New York Yankees game at Guaranteed Rate Field. The following day the band made history as the first homegrown Filipino act to perform on the Lollapalooza main stage in Chicago, with additional shows on July 31. A new single, “LAWLESS,” and its video are slated for release on July 31, and the festival’s livestream will be available on Disney+ and Hulu in participating territories.
