Filippo Bianchi to join Sportbike World Championship with Kawasaki

Filippo Bianchi has secured a seat in the 2027 Sportbike World Championship, riding for the official Kawasaki Team Prodina. The 21-year-old rider's move to the world stage follows a dominant performance in the 2026 CIV Sportbike championship.

Bianchi clinched the Italian national title at the Cremona Circuit with three races remaining in the season. Competing with the MMP Velocità team on an Aprilia RS 660, he achieved seven victories out of eleven races, including a win in the Superpole Race that finalized his championship status.
