Film Champagne scheduled for screenings in the Netherlands

The film Champagne, starring Huub Stapel and Leo Alkemade, is scheduled for upcoming screenings in the Netherlands. The movie follows a son who takes his terminally ill father on a trip to the Champagne region of France.

In Bathmen, the film will be shown on Saturday, September 19, at Film op de Brink. The event features a large professional screen, and while admission is free, voluntary contributions are encouraged to sustain the tradition. In case of bad weather, the screening will move to Cultuurhuus Braakhekke.

Additionally, Het Postkantoor will host the film on Thursday afternoon, September 17, as part of its new theater season. The venue's programming also includes the historical drama Hamnet, scheduled for September 15.
