Film festivals in Serbia and Croatia conclude with major awards

The National Film and Television Festival (NAFFIT) in Zlatibor, Serbia, has concluded with the film ‘Žetva’ winning the award for best film. The series ‘Tvrđava’ received recognition for best series, with Darija Vučko winning best leading actress and Ognjen Mićović winning best leading actor. Additionally, Danica Ristovski and Nikola Kolja Pejaković won awards for best supporting roles. Actress Nastasja Kinski received a special award for her career achievements.

Meanwhile, the 20th anniversary of the Vukovar Film Festival in Croatia has also concluded. The award for best feature film went to ‘Žuta kravata’ by Romanian director Serge Ioan Celebidahia, while the best short film was the Bulgarian production ‘Direktor’ by Ljubomir Pechev. Other winners include Jozo Schumch for a special young author award, Pep Lubojacki for best documentary, and Krešimir Pernek for best animated film. Dražen Klarić received a special recognition for film culture, and musician Vlatko Stefanovski was honored for his contribution to film music.
