Film ‘Naimononedari no Kimi ni Hikari no Hanataba wo’ releases new stills

New promotional images have been released for the live-action film ‘Naimononedari no Kimi ni Hikari no Hanataba wo’, starring Nanoka Hara and Ryuto Sakuma. Based on the novel by Natsue Shiomi, the story follows the relationship between Eiko, a high school student struggling with feelings of inferiority, and Mahiru, a popular idol who appears perfect to the outside world.

The two characters find themselves working together as library committee members, leading to a deepening connection as they reveal their hidden sides to one another. The film is scheduled for a nationwide release on November 20, 2026.

In addition to the new visuals, an original soundtrack composed by Makoto Kakudo and director Jin Ando will be released digitally on the same day as the film's premiere. The movie has also been selected for the Gala Selection category at the 39th Tokyo International Film Festival.
