No Address film to stream free on Angel in November
The award-winning film No Address, produced by Robert Craig Films, will be available for free streaming on the Angel platform throughout November. The release is intended to recognize National Homelessness Awareness Month and raise awareness regarding the challenges faced by youth transitioning out of the foster care system.
The film follows the story of Lauren, a character portrayed by Isabella Ferreira, who becomes homeless after being forced to leave her foster home at age 18. The production highlights a statistic noting that nearly 1 in 7 young people leaving foster care face homelessness within their first year of independence.
Directed by Julia Verdin, the film features a cast including William Baldwin, Ashanti, Xander Berkeley, Lucas Jade Zumann, Beverly D’Angelo, and Ty Pennington. The campaign encourages foster care organizations and advocates to use the film to facilitate discussions on supporting young adults without stable housing or support systems.
