Filmmaker Akash Srivatsa completes shooting for Daiji

Director Akash Srivatsa has announced that filming for the psychological mystery thriller Daiji has concluded. The project, starring Ramesh Aravind and Radhika Narayan, is currently undergoing visual effects and sound mixing in preparation for its release.

The film features a diverse musical landscape composed by three music directors: Judah Sandhy, Nakul Abhyankar, and Sachin Basrur. Sandhy is responsible for the complete background score and an English track featuring debutante Vibha Kashyap. Nakul Abhyankar’s compositions include lyrics penned by actor Dhananjaya, with one track performed by Sonu Nigam.

Notable musical contributions include the playback singing debut of Carnatic vocalist Sivasri Tejasvi Surya for a sacred song, as well as a version by singer Abby V. The soundtrack also incorporates indie-fusion elements from artist Harshad Dhwani.
