Filoprodos Association of Kozani hosts summer cinema screening

The Filoprodos Association of Kozani is launching the second cycle of its summer film screenings on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. The event will take place at the ‘Courtyard of Melodies and Spectacles’.

The featured film is Sam Peckinpah’s 1973 revisionist Western, ‘Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid’. The film stars James Coburn, Kris Kristofferson, Bob Dylan, Jason Robards, and Katy Jurado. The story explores the doomed friendship between Pat Garrett, a new sheriff, and his former friend, the outlaw Billy the Kid, during the final days of the Wild West.

Critically acclaimed for its dark and poetic tone, the film features a lyrical soundtrack by Bob Dylan and a screenplay by Rudyard Kipling. The screening is scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m.
