Fimple signs five GCC financial institutions in first year of regional expansion
Fimple, an AI-native financial platform, has secured five financial institution clients across the GCC within its first year of regional operations. The company, which established a presence in Dubai in October 2025 and opened an office in Riyadh, aims to double its regional customer base.
The GCC has become Fimple’s fastest-growing region, now representing nearly one-fifth of its global customer base of over 35 institutions. Growth is being driven by high demand for Islamic finance and AI-ready banking technology. The platform is designed to help banks modernize and launch products more quickly by supporting both conventional and Islamic finance models.
This expansion aligns with broader regional goals, such as the UAE Strategy for Islamic Finance and Halal Industry, which seeks to increase local Islamic bank assets to AED 2.56 trillion by 2031. Additionally, the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has announced plans to become the world’s first AI-native financial centre.
