Fina launches Fina Presta lending service for Venezuelan businesses
Venezuelan startup Fina has officially launched Fina Presta, a lending service designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) using its management platform. The service offers loans of up to $3,000, with disbursements occurring in less than 30 minutes.
To qualify, businesses must have used the Fina system for at least 60 days, allowing the company to evaluate operational and transactional performance. Because the system uses internal business data as credit backing, the service does not require audited financial statements, guarantors, or collateral.
During a pilot phase, Fina reported granting over $1.2 million in credits with a delinquency rate of less than 1%. According to the company, businesses receiving these loans saw an average sales increase of 16.7%. Funds are typically used for inventory acquisition, payroll, and facility improvements. Repayments are made in biweekly installments, and credit limits increase as users maintain timely payments.
