final announces DX10000 CL flagship diamond diaphragm headphones

Japanese audio brand final has announced the DX10000 CL, a new flagship closed-back headphone featuring a True Diamond CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) diaphragm. Unlike standard diamond-like carbon coatings, this technology utilizes high-purity diamond foils to achieve high rigidity and low distortion.

The DX10000 CL incorporates several specialized engineering features, including a vacuum thermal compression bonding technique to eliminate traditional adhesives, a steep dome-shaped diaphragm with cylindrical ribs, and an integrated voice coil frame. The chassis is constructed from five-axis CNC-machined aluminum-magnesium alloy to ensure airtightness.

Two versions are available: the standard DX10000 CL and a limited Collector’s Edition, of which only 150 units are produced globally. The Collector’s Edition features gold accents and includes premium accessories such as a paulownia wood box and traditional Japanese silk pouches. The headphones include high-end cables co-developed with Junkosha, featuring both 4.4mm and 4-pin XLR specifications.
