Final Fantasy VII Rebirth released on Xbox Series X/S and Switch 2 in June 2026
Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, originally launched on PlayStation 5 in February 2024 and later on PC, will be released on Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2 on 3 June 2026, marking its first expansion beyond PlayStation exclusivity. The launch coincides with a busy week of video‑game releases, including Konami’s eFootball Kick‑Off! exclusive for Switch 2 on 4 June, the remake of the 1990s horror puzzle title The 7th Guest scheduled for 4 June on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and THQ Nordic’s action RPG Fatekeeper arriving on PC on 2 June. A Japanese gaming site lists many additional titles slated for release in the same period, such as Gothic 1 Remake and various indie games across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox and Switch platforms. The multi‑platform rollout of Rebirth is viewed as a technical test for the new Nintendo console and broadens the game’s audience worldwide.
