Final Fantasy VII Remake bug persists amid Nintendo Switch 2 discount

Players of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Rebirth continue to report a recurring glitch where a defective Chocobo follows the character into cut‑scenes and collisions, disrupting gameplay even two years after the game’s release. The issue, first noted in 2024, has not been resolved by the developer, and players have appealed for a fix.

At the same time, the enhanced Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade for Nintendo Switch 2 is being offered at a reduced price of €17.49 on the Nintendo eShop, down from €49.99. The sale highlights the game’s upgraded graphics, audio, and performance for the new console, as well as its storyline featuring Cloud Strife and the resistance group Avalanche in the city of Midgar.
