Final Fantasy X 25th Anniversary Pop‑Up Stores Launch in Osaka and Tokyo

Square Enix is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its 2001 role‑playing game Final Fantasy X with a limited‑time pop‑up store collaboration with Daimaru department stores. The Osaka location at Daimaru Shinsaibashi opens on 3 July and runs through late August, while the Tokyo venue at Daimaru Marunouchi opens mid‑July and closes in early August.

Both stores showcase more than 20 items of apparel, accessories and collectibles themed around Final Fantasy X, including T‑shirts, jackets, plush figures of Tidus and Yuna, and specialty goods such as rubber coasters and cup markers. In addition, merchandise from other Square Enix franchises – Dragon Quest, Kingdom Hearts and NieR:Automata – is also available.

A linked‑receipt novelty campaign lets shoppers who present a receipt from one venue receive a random gift at the other venue, with two rounds of giveaways (rubber coasters and cup markers). An online store will continue sales after the physical events close.
