Final Fantasy XIV Monument and Craft Beer Launch at Akihabara Station

A 160 cm-high replica of the Final Fantasy XIV “Ethereal” crystal has been installed in the free‑passage area of Akihabara Station. The monument is part of the EXBAR TOKYO plus AKIHABARA venue, which is operated by Taito and combines a game‑themed bar with a permanent Final Fantasy XIV goods shop.

From 31 July, the bar began serving two original craft beers inspired by the game: “Guiding Light”, a blue‑hued fruit ale, and “Forest Healer”, a green‑hued white ale, both 5 % ABV and priced at ¥4.1 per ml. The beers are available on self‑serve taps alongside a menu of snacks. The launch included promotional items such as a limited‑edition acrylic key‑chain, a postcard giveaway for purchases over ¥3,000, and a custom “Alpha & Mogri” stamp for visitors.

The installation and beverage lineup are intended as a permanent attraction for fans, offering a real‑world “teleport” experience and a place for “pilgrimage” to the game’s iconic crystal.
